    Really good actually. Sweet on the nose, good viscosity for mouth coat. Sweet up front and little spice on back end. Found it for $68. They had 4... Should've bought more but may rectify that tomorrow...

    It was World Whiskey Day...I had to!

    I have a buddy (one of the guys on my BBQ team) with whom I have a pact. If we get our hands on a Van Winkle of any sort, we hold it and only drink it together. Depending on which bottle, we have different "ceremonies" planned for when the bottle is opened. Since that's the youngest of the bunch, we had the most tame ceremony when I got this a little over a year ago, but it still involved outfits and a REALLY good meal. :rofl:

    I still have about a quarter bottle left. He came over last night with his brother (his brother is a good friend of mine from college) and his brother announced he was expecting his second child - of course we had to hit the good stuff :).
