I don't think it's improper to take your whiskey with you. If the host or anyone else wants a drink, let them have it, but the only times I've ever left a whiskey behind is if someone specifically asks me to or something. I had a bottle of Four Roses Small Batch that I brought to a friend's party and he kept raving about it, so I just let him keep it.

And there's nothing wrong with Bud Light. All those craft beer nerds talk about Bud and Natty being watery and cheap, but when I'm watching football for 12 hrs on a Saturday, I'd rather drink 15 Bud Light's over 6 craft beers.

I do own one. Might have to put it to use this weekend.

I like this idea. Seems most liquor stores mostly have the more popular brands in the smaller bottles.

Haha, I could drink Bud Light all day. My family and friends are opposite of beer nerds. They like it cold and a lot of it. But, that is kinda why I've been trying new stuff because I would start getting so full my stomach would hurt or I would be pissing every 15 minutes.

It's the approach I usually use. That way I can leave it on the counter so if anybody wants some they can have some, it's clearly labeled, and I'm not carrying it around like I would be with a flask.

Same here. I have 2 uncles who are HUGE craft beer, cigar, and bourbon nerds, so they always give me a hard time when I break out the Natty Light, but I can drink both of them under the table 2 to 1 lol.

The other problem I have is another uncle of mine...he drinks cheap whiskey and whenever me or one of my uncles brings something nicer to a family event, he drinks it all! I started keeping my shit in my truck

I like it. It's a nice spicy rye, maybe a little spicier than Bulliet...
Been a couple of years since I've had Bulliet, though. So my memory could be off.

You can get Scrappy's right on Amazon; that's where I get mine. Honestly, it improves even an Evan Williams or Jim Beam Old Fashioned too. I only use the Bulliet or Whistlepig when I'm feeling rich, lol. :notsure:

I see a couple Scotch drinkers on here but not near enough. I saw some Yamazaki posted on here. I would love to try some especially after one of their whiskies was named best in the world. We just don't get the best selection down here in Pensacola, FL.

I will drink just about any Single Malt Scotch I can get my hands on. Anything aged in Sherry casks is amazing. It's liquid candy. Glendronach 12 year is a favorite of mine. I also love some peaty whiskies. Talisker, Ardbeg, Highland Park, and Laphroaig are a few good ones.

A Glenlevit 21 is my all time favorite for special occasions especially. (Had a bottle at my wedding). I'll usually keep a bottle of Glenlevit 12 to sip at home along with a bottle of Kraken dark rum for cooking and mixing in drinks.
