Poor man pappy time?!

 

I bought a bottle of this the a month or so back... at least I think its the same bottle but prob a 2018/9 bottling... wasn’t super impressed. Prob time to revisit

 

I've heard the newer ones aren't that great. They are now using product sourced from Dickel and apparently didn't pick many honey barrels. This one contains distillate sourced from MGP and is pretty well celebrated. We'll see how it tastes. I have a buddy with both a Dickel sourced and MGP sourced bottle that are open. I plan to get some samples from him before opening this one. If the samples are underwhelming, I'll tape a $20 bill to this bottle and trade for a few bottles of Booker's .

Yeah most Dickel products I’m not a big fan of. Prob why I don’t like the current SAOS...

MGP on the other hand.. I really enjoy. Got a Boone county 12yr open at the moment that is quite tasty. May go buy the other couple bottles that were on the shelf.

 

Is it red label or this? There’s a difference.

If it’s not red label, and you don’t like it, holler, I may buy it.

Just wanted to give you all an update. You have probably started receiving the PayPal invoices from us. The glasses are all etched now (some pics later) we just have to clean them up and package and they will be out the door. If anyone has ordered extra custom ones we are still finishing those off and they will go out with your normal order.

Stopped in at the liquor store behind my house to buy some lotto tickets and window shop for what I want to dive into next. Here's what they have behind the glass, overall on the shelf as well some of their pricing is very odd, some stuff is a good deal while others are priced ridiculously.
