Picked up a bottle of High West American Prairie Bourbon. Going to crack it in a little, we'll see how it is.

Local place had it marked down to like $18 a bottle. Was talking to the manager and he said people just dont care for this stuff. Saying he wasnt going to stock it again. Shouldve grabbed a couple.20190720_210340.jpg

Mine lasted several months. What I don't quite understand is: the first half of the bottle had NO BURN. the second half, much much more so

Fuck yes, good stuff. Know the rye well and just had the bourbon and also their American Whiskey. Both great.

Was fishing in FL over the weekend, stopped by total wine on the way home and this was the only thing that caught my eye. Hadn’t seen it around here yet. Let’s see how it is...

First sip, it’s slightly sweet at first with a slow heat on the back end. Really smooth, alot less heat than I’m used to with most of the bourbons I enjoy. I got mine for $45, it’s worth that I reckon just because I like Metallica so much haha

Those came from across the pond. The only hunting out here that's worth a damn is the kind that puts food on the table, not booze

Here is part 3 of the video I did with the Whiskey Crusaders featuring our BBQ. This one pairs whiskey with brisket.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckaVi-_nksM&t=28s

Hope on, subscribe to their channel, like the video, and MOST IMPORTANTLY - comment on the video! Do those things and you'll be entered in a drawing for some rub.

I'm hoping we can get the views and comments up for that video and get them to have me back on sooner rather than later ;).
