We bought a new house yesterday so it looks like my stash is about to start dwindling down so the move is easier. I’ve got 6-8 months to figure out how I can keep my wife off my ass about it. She wants me to put the liquor cabinet in storage.

They don’t last long. We’ve had about 80 picks so far. It sucks when your wife loves bourbon as much as you do and FP is her daily drinker.

It's been warm today, called for ice.

Congrats on the new house.

I am one to always help a guy out. Especially a fellow Taco owner. I'll PM you my address and you can ship me me your extra stash.
That should make that move easier and take some stress out of it.

I heard about this Bourbon this morning. "Supposedly a Buffalo Trace product" It's John J. Bowman. And I thought to myself. Self I've seen this Bourbon on the shelves at the local ABC stores. So I did a little research and it appears sure enough it is from Buffalo Trace! Just shipped to Virginia re-distilled for a 3rd time and then aged.
So I called my local store and sure enough 9 bottles on the shelf. Now Hell will freeze over before you find any Buffalo Trace products on an shelf here in NC other than
Eagle Rare or Ancient Age. But if this holds true. Single Barrel... 100 proof... I may have just found a close substitute for a Colonel at a lower price.
Headed to the store right after work. :D

I've attached 2 links comparing it to EH Taylor and Blanton's.

Gonna see how Mr. Jon J. Bowman compares to other similar Buffalo Trace products.

I keep asking my local one, they say it's a rarity they get picked for allocation. I always walk in there when I shop or drive by just in case :D
