Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
Looks like that is just a list of the states where Costco sells liquor but the state mandates that the stores must sell the liquor to the public without a membership. Although I don't know how anyone survives modern society without a Costco membership.

Yea, my Costco in Augusta GA has a liquor store attached but not technically affiliated with Costco. I want to find one with the liquor inside the store so I can try Kirklands stuff (and find Blantons)

I don't go to a lot of different Costco stores but the one's I've been in never had Blanton's. I'd bet that was a rarety.

Ever since I had the Michters Small Batch American whisky and the barrel strength limited rye I've become a fan. I rarely see any Michters around here but grab one when I can. While in SoCal this week I found one I hadn't seen. When I got home and put it in my cabinet I realized I've started a Michters collection! I've got a few open bottles to finish before I get to these. I hope they are decent and in line with the other Michters I've tried.

Ours is not in store and carries Kirkland. Not the crown Royal clone but some others. So there's hope!

    No Blanton's though :(

Just noticed this. For $190, that is definitely a hard pass. Thanks for checking it out, though!

I don't know about the other states, but the Texas law is something like liquor can't be sold by publicly owned stores or something. Maybe it is publicly owned grocery stores? I forget the minutia of the law.

That's why no membership is required. You're technically buying from WB Liquors here, which obviously isn't beholden to the same rules as Costco. What their official partnership is, I don't know.

I've checked out the one by me a couple of times. Nothing particularly interesting in stock and the prices honestly weren't very good. Everything in the $20-$50 range was a bit overpriced. Some of the $150-250 stuff was maybe 5% cheaper at the most.

They did have a slot for Skrewball, though.

I need to go snag another Skrewball again for storage... interesting enough to keep around!

I still haven't found that one to try out. Got to look at some of the places around here to see if they have it.

Seems like Hibiki production has increased, or they just sent a lot of the allocation to stores around here. Stopped by BevMo to see what they had (didn't buy anything) and spotted these. Usually if a store has them they're hidden and few.

I've been on the hunt for that Henry McKenna, very jealous. Couple BevMo's locally have gotten it in and sold it before I could make it there

Stopped by Costco earlier. Asked if they ever get Blanton's in. Said they did two weeks ago... FML...

I need to pay them to call me :spending:

Any idea what they charge. The local BJs is $60 when it’s in.
