Dusty WT is incredible. This is my second decanter. I finished the first one Friday night as I knew this was being opened last night.

In regards to your experience, that evaporation means it was opened for so long that whiskey turned, in a sense. I imagine it wouldn’t taste too great.

If you’re nearby on a weekend stop by and try some.

Yeah I finally tried Screwball the other day, my cousins husband poured me some over ice. Big pour, I pretty much had to choke it down. To each their own though, I could see a younger version of myself possibly enjoying it. Also I think it could have potential in cocktails.

Which chapter? That's cheaper than I've gotten my first two for... If it's chapter 3, do they have multiple? :D

@bvbull200 has a better pulse on the Booker's though.

That's very reasonable pricing. Spec's around here has it for $90, but their allocation was really slim, apparently. Most times anyone in our little circle have found it, it has been at $110 or higher. That's for Chapter 3. The first two chapters aren't really on shelves anymore, though a buddy did see a chapter 2 for $125 the other day.

For any of them, I'd pay $100 all day.

they only had 1 bottle of it and I’m pretty sure it was chapter 3, they had a couple pappy’s for $449 and a couple Weller 12 year for $249

Just found Booker’s 2019-01 for 79.99 they also had Weller special reserve (green label) for 69.99. The owner said he has bookers rye for 99.99 but it’s offsite at a different location
Edit: just remembered he also had bookers 30th for either $99 or $129 I can’t recall the exact price

Picked up a bottle of this to give my dad for Christmas. I haven't had it before so I hope it is good. I really want to try their ocean aged stuff but it's a little spendy everywhere I have seen it.

Also Costco had Basil Hayden's for $30 so I had to get one of those for myself.

Corner Creek is my favorite bourbon. I used to be able to find it locally, but it has become scarce.

    Wait, what?!?!

Those prices on the Booker's Rye and 30th are below retail. I mean, if there is a chance it is valid, I'd have him ring you up, and say you'll wait for them to arrive in. Pay with a card that you can get some sort of fraud protection in case he flat out scams you, but see what he does. I'd be hard pressed to see how that is accurate, but stranger things have happened!

Also, I'll give you one dollar more than @Misplaced Nebraskan will for the Rye if you get it.

My buddy got a damn good deal on Weller 12 last night. He's LAPD & stops in all the mom & pop shops on his beat. This shop didn't know what they had & sold it at retail. Only had 2 & my name wasn't on the list to get the other :argue:
