You have a picture of the LEDs?

 

I have a few bottles like that. Battery powered lights so they aren't tied to a wall. I use those LED "fairy" lights.

 

Lady friend has been cutting them in half and hanging them or using them as planters

 

What is she using to cut them? I have a few that'd make neat glasses.

 

Here are some of the ones I’ve used. I’ve also built my own in various projects. I can take some pics of those if you would like but they are way more DIY and run off a raspberry pi.

Probably a glass cutter.

I'm thinking this might be good by now... I helped install a spring water pump about 11 years ago at the main location... back when they first started making 'shine. So their aged spirits are probably just coming into their own now...

Accidentally did that to a Christmas bulb I was etching for the wife. Had to clean the machine up.

I've been thinking about reusing some of the cooler bottles and looking for ideas for some time. Ever since I saw this pic of a JD bottle I thought the same thing with a Hibiki Harmony or Blantons bottle would be awesome. I found Several methods to cut the bottle on line, but all are iffy with a round bottle.

The most likely is soaking the bottle in hot water to loosen the label glue and removing those intact. Then using a wet tile saw with a diamond glass cutting blade to cut in two, glue the labels back on. Glue on a hinge. Bing bang boom. Who will be first?

That Evan Williams BIB has become my daily sipper. Best Bourbon I've found for under $20. I was sipping Ancient Age 10 Star. But That EW BIB has taken over the 1st spot especially at $15.

 

Same, and the big bottle is only $23 here so that's normally what I pick up
