Favorite Whiskey?

I'm at a hotel in Cleveland, OH, for the week. I noticed they had Bookers 2019-03 and Basil Hayden's on the bar. I asked how much each were for a pour, since there was no bourbon listed on the menu. The bartender states: "I always pour doubles, for the single prices we charge here." I went with the Booker's and this was my tab. Not bad for a "double!"

 

For the weekend I go Blanton's, high west, 1792 full, stagg jr, Booker's, basil etc.....But for weekdays after a stressful day you can't beat the big bottle of Jim Beam black. $40 for the big bottle can't be beat

 

Sounds like that bartender probably won't have a job for longAt least you got hooked up though!

 

$48 @ Costco today. Fantastic flavor bomb. Will quickly rise to the top of my go to list!

 

I'm a fan as well. Found a deal I couldn't pass up so I bought 2!

Good choice. You can buy about 72 bottles of Four Roses for the price of that Macallan 25 year.

 

I've had it 3 of the nights, now. I switched to the Basil Hayden's one night, and it was the same price per "pour."
