It can be a pretty harsh shot but I’ve gotten somewhat used to it. A friend who’s a firefighter really likes it and we all end up doing shots of it.

Yes sir. I think at times I’m just picky with some things. :)

Been holding on to this one for a long time and finally popped it open tonight. Talisker doesn't release many cask strength bottles, so this one is special to me.

I bought it from overseas last summer. Didn't want to open it until I had a backup bottle in hand, but I couldn't wait any longer

It's really damn good. Typical Talisker profile but turned up a few notches.

I need to pour a Talisker flight to give accurate comparison to the others. First impression has me thinking it drinks like the 10 yo up front but with a heavier malt influence, and it finishes off with the more citrus forward character of the 18 yo. The extra ABV is fantastic from start to finish.

It used to be rare and expensive.. I think the first bottle I saw and bought was $79? Now.. I'm picking it up at Costco for $55 everyday price.

The C919 has replaced all the B519 on the shelves and it's so worth it!

This is always a good find. Only one shop has this is town, and the attendant had to call the manager to see where it was located in the back of the shop.

Out here taking care of some rust spots on the wife's 4R bumper swing outs and started with a Booker's Country Ham, ended with an ECBP C918. A little ice cube and this hot stuff goes down dangerously fast.
