Couldn't wait to try it. I expected a heavier peat influenced given the intensity that Balcones brings to all of their high proof bottles, but this one is in the sweet spot. It's really damn good... may be my favorite Balcones yet.

New one for tonight. Went looking for some Michters, TW hasn’t received their shipment yet, couldn’t leave empty handed

Allergies kicked my ass yesterday and I feel a cold coming on. Time to medicate with high octane cough syrup.

The rye whiskey is readily available around here, but the bourbon has been elusive. I should've dropped the $115 when I found one at the Kroger next to me a while back.

Saw that at the TW today. It caught my attention and I almost pulled the trigger, but I was on a mission for some Pilsner Urquell.
