Oh yeah, for sure. That's Beam as well. Hell of a value bottle! Especially now that the KC single barrel program has increased in price and the older barrels are no longer available for picking.

Yeah, with the introduction of the 12 year and 15 year bottles into the regular lineup, you won't find many if any old barrel picks. Buy all you can find right now! They may pick up in the future once stock catches up but for now it looks like they're going away.

Hah! My post came across 9 kinds of wrong. Great day off with the wife for her birthday. And the grilled steaks/veggies were as good as the Cabernet. I was just thinking that a nice Bourbon would have gone down well after dinner, not that I was lamenting the birthday time with the Mrs.

    Ratio:

    90:10 Booker's. Just a splash of skrewball.

It weirdly tames the heat on nose and mouth. The peanut profile of the Booker's is still there but it made it like candied peanuts. Not necessarily good. Just that profile I guess

Not gonna experiment with this anymore:bananadead:

And I caught two gnats in it while outside.

    IMG_20200519_203149.jpg

So I took the rest as a shot, then went and made a jack and Coke.:cheers:

Following up from last night’s faux pax:

Not the best in the pantry, but good enough to relax with. Seems a bit brighter than I remember.
