Do you like peat? Because that's what you're gonna get with that bottle! Of those 3, Spice Tree is my favorite. Compass Box turns out great stuff. Let us know how you like them.

I do like peat, but can’t tell if it’s too much peat for me. I did a couple drops of water, now I’m waiting a bit to see how it changes for me

Sometimes time will change the flavor profile. @bvbull200 is also a Compass Box fan and a peat lover, so he can talk more about that.

    Peat... blech!

I do feel like a couple drops of water opened it up for me. It’s nice being able to get 50ml bottles to try some different stuff

I wish all distilleries offered 50ml bottles for sale. My liquor cabinet would look like an airline booze supply warehouse!

Broke a nice stemless wine glass today. That makes 3 broken vessels in about a week. Got me thinking about this GB. Is it 8/1 yet?! :laser:

When sending packages by UPS Ground, always send on Monday so that it reaches it's destination by Friday. This avoids the package sitting in the summer heat (or the winter cold) over the weekend.

Surely you wouldn't want your hot sauce or Artisanal Olive Oil or yeast samples to be ruined or delayed or delivered when you're not home.

Finally kicked a cold ('rona?) so it's time for some whisky with a bit of sherry and a bit of port. What's next?

I still haven't tried this but I've heard similar things about it. I need to pick up a bottle one of these days.

Fled the Texas heat for a few days in the cool mountains. Packed a little Texas with me, though.

I'm a noob, too, but my brother in law knows a few things, so I try new stuff when he comes over. I don't smoke then often, but if fending for myself, I stick to Romeo y Julieta, Arturo Fuentes, and Rocky Patel. I usually go for the lighter leaf, as well. I was introduced to the house wrap from a local place and they're really good. Get them for $5 a piece if you buy 5. That's the stick I'm burning in that pic.

I also picked up these Pappy Van Winkle stogies the other day. I guess aged in ex Pappy barrels. $14/ea, but got them to have with some buddies. I expect nothing less than for them to be overpriced, overhyped, but still pretty good. Just like the bourbon. ;)

I've have a humidor with a bunch of Romeo Y Julieta en Cidro cigars I picked up on Grand Cayman a few years ago. Should still be good as they have been kept in the humidor at the proper humidity... Anyone interested in a trade?
