Keep your eyes open for this. It's a 4 year Willet they only sell once every 5 years under the original 'Speakeasy' name through one of their psydoneum 'distilleries' to keep the trademark name active. Around $35 . I stumbled across a bottle in socal and had to do a lot of research to find out anything about it. I need to kill a few bottles before opening this...will report back when I do. I figure if Willet 4 year rye is at least $50 and is fantastic, this 4 year Willet bourbon should be good too20200724_113417.jpg .

It’s not out here yet. I should be able to get a bottle fairly easy among all of my friends tho.

IMO, Weller SR is better than both of those, and cheaper in my area.

I just sat down with my first pour of the night: a 1792 FP bottle that I've had, unopened, for about a year now. 1) I'm not very impressed. 2) I'm only slightly ahead of you with about 4:45 hours until my alarm... But I've got 1...maybe 6 more glencairns to work through tonight.

I've wanted to try this. However, the barrel proof is listed as a discontinued item in SLC. I can get the the regular bourbon variety. Is the regular decent?

I was about to ask how you liked your SiB Select and how you thought it compared to normal BT.
Mine SiB Select doesn't taste any different than normal Buffalo Trace. Have heard a few others say this too, but it seems like you really like yours.

It’s like bt and eagle rare had a baby haha. Much more up front body then super light on the end with the classic bt taste that lingers. I love it. Will prolly kill it tonight

The regular is damn good for almost $20 a bottle. Not the best but for the price it's a good pour.

Pretty decent. Alittle to hot for my taste but it’s ok. Super oak flavored tho.
