Favorite Whiskey?

That's batch 9 from 2015. Another great one!

 

Tis the season! Not a huge ec fan but it’s good mixed. I might pick up a barrel pick for some eggnog over the holidays.

 

Some of my favorites!

 

Made one with Yellowstone, much better this time. Neck pour was horrible outta that bottle. Maybe now that it got some age it got some value to it. Will try it neat later in the week and see how it is.

 

Love it when my wife’s aunts come to visit from Kentucky, and especially when they bring a little of the good stuff with them. Trying to ration this one from their last visit, but another reason (of the many) I’m looking forward to post-pandemic days...M&S’s bourbon delivery service.

Thank you for the suggestions! You actually gave me another gift idea, without me even asking. My father LOVES sipping rums, so I think I'm going to get him a bottle of the Lost Spirits Navy Style 61 Rum if I can find it. Thanks again for taking the time to make these suggestions.

 

You will NOT be disappointed! If you can find it, another good supper rum is English Harbor Antigua rum. It is wayyyy under priced for the quality imo.

If you save your Blanton's toppers until you can spell B-L-A-N-T-O-N-S and send it to them, they will mount them for you on a barrel stave. But if you don't have all the letters, don't despair, they got u fam. Just send in your fav and they'll send you this. Mount up!

My father in law retired from the pa liquor control board. Worked the state stores for years, knows all about bourbon and scotch yet hardly drinks. One night we killed a bottle of blantons together and cracked another bottle and he mentions the top program....I’ve throw out 100s of tops hahahahaha. Never even knew it was a thing. I have all of them just gotta send em in.
