So I’m up north of Pittsburgh picking up some beer and was gonna go bourbon hunting after and didn’t realize my car radio was an hour fast. Last stop .. I showed up 30 min before they open

Wasn’t about to pay $115 for AE Rye, but snagged the last bottle of this.

Anyone a fan of bourbon sours? Any good homemade recipes for sour mixes? I like to use the cheaper stuff for mixing. Vob 90 is a solid choice for sours and old fashions.

I myself also had a pour of all 3 yesterday. All are top notch. The more I drink the small batch the more I like it.

I have a feeling it’s gunna keep going up in price once people find out what it is and who makes it.

more than welcome to come poison test them all for me

Make New York sours for the wife, if they weren’t pink I’d have one every day. Basically a sour but with a red wine floater

Had to explain this to a store manager, his mind was blown

My local guy told me tell no one around here it’s made by bt. Idk if it’s not allocated or what but he can get it everyday. Even around here it’s going up. Was 28, now 31 most places, some 35 and I’ve seen it as high as 60.

The one thing I miss about living in pa is controlled prices. Crazy down here with the stores being privately owned but they have to follow state law but can set their own prices. Makes it interesting for sure.

WV is the same (private), but I’m fortunate to live within spitting distance of both state lines.

Let us know what you think about that one fiddy. Clerk at a nearby shop had one on the shelf behind him and I asked how much... he said "oh, that one is 150 years old... 500 dollars"

Big ones are King suspension, SSO bumper w/winch, Pelfreybuilt sliders.
1792 is Pappy Van Winkle that didn't make the cut. It's good stuff, especially if you get a store's select barrel. :)
