The actual cherry is not very good. Mix w a little coke. Bourbon premium cherries would be better. Apple is pretty tasty. Not bad for cheaper tasting

That stagg jr batch neat is fuckin unreal. I wouldn’t be pouring a 3-4 finger dram unless you plan on getting tanked.

Smaller pours neat is where it’s at though. I would rather a bunch of smaller pours with air hitting them compared to one giant pour a night.

depends on the stuff imho. Bookers is over 130 proof, and I could drink it anytime, it's so smooth. 1792 Full Proof at 125 is scalding by comparison.

yup. I don't need to have my glass full the entire night to drink the entire night:thumbsup:, a little at a time, but frequent is the way to sip it. :drunk::proposetoast:

1792 FP smelled wicked as soon as I opened it.

I’m not sure what the opinion on 4 Roses SiB is, but a buddy and I almost killed a full bottle last night and it was super smooth. I was very impressed with it being a Walmart find and something I should be able to routinely get without hassle.

Hard to go wrong with either the single barrel or small batch. I haven't tried the small batch select yet but I hear it's very good.

The Four Roses Small Batch Select is (IMHO) the best of the lineup! Complex, unexpected but easy drinking. Non-chill filtered and 104 proof....it is one of my all time favorites. I have a bottle of the Gift Shop SiB from this year which is really good (OBSV) but it still can't touch Small Batch Select.

It depends where you are. My area there are only 2 stores that stock Bookers.

No pictures but I had red breast for the first time and it was real nice and then a friend of mine said I should try some screwball and it’s also real nice. Both are nice in there own ways.

Interesting. Always viewed it as a nicer bottle that was readily available, but I figure “collectors” and “hunters” will start hoarding it soon.

took me three months to find my first. now I know a shop 20 minutes away that always has them. Even when I thought they were out I mentioned it and they run in the back and bring out more. PM if you want to know where. I bit more of a drive for you but they seem to have everything. Takes me 30 minutes to just make my picks.

Finally opened my bottle of Bookers, after seeing all of the posts about it.
