Favorite Whiskey?

I'll have to check my local Fine Wine and Spirits shop. Wanted to try it and can never find it.

 

Question for you guys...Is all the Old Ezra 7 Barrel Strength?? The one I just bought is Barrel Strength @117 proof. Just wondered if it's all that way??

I finally got my hands on one of my own Unicorns today. This is incredibly hard to find in my area of NC.

 

That's such a great bottle. Punches way above it's price point. Enjoy!

 

My local Total Wine has this, last time i took it to counter it was marked 10.99 and it rang up 13.99. Manager was not happy about giving me the lower price. Good stuff!

 

Really, I see it all the time and have never bought it because the packaging is so terrible. What does it compare to??

 

It's a straight corn whiskey, so compare to high corn mashbill stuff. Think Jack Daniels, maybe, but a little extra sweetness and a minimum 4 year aging, plus some proof points.

It's $11-15 and worst case disappears in ice and coke. If really available, snag a bottle. It's got a cult following. To be clear, it's punching above a $15 price point, so I'm not saying it's Heaven Hill 27 reinvented with a screw cap (it is a Heaven Hill product), but I dig the stuff.

 

I need a whole lot more of this

Picked up two bottles of Hibiki, a bottle of Eagle Rare and a Small Batch Taylor all from one liquor store.
