Once you have Grand Reserve it's yours through 12/31 of the following year. So for 2021 if I don't accumulate enough points I'll drop levels effective 1/1/2022.

 

Splurged a little. I’ve heard some not so good reviews on the EC18 but the manager gave me a solid deal so in the cart it went.

 

I’m curious to hear your thoughts on the 18. How could it be bad after 18 years?

Spend $2500 on booze because you want to drink it. Lottery is just a bonus. But I buy at different places so I'll miss it this year.

BTW - points and dollars aren't one-to-one. "Members earn 10 points for every dollar spent at Total Wine & More and 15 points per dollar on every Winery Direct or Spirits Direct purchase". Military gets you double.

 

And sometimes they have some bonus sales. This year my friend bought a $250 bottle of scotch using my account & it got 5x more points than usual. That's what bumped me up to grand reserve, otherwise I don't think I would've hit it.

Enjoying some Elijah Craig small batch. What a great bourbon for the coin... my 2 favorites for the price ECSB and Larceny.

 

I really want to try some Larceny Barrel Proof.
I think normal Larceny hits way above it's weight class

I hope Mellow Corn is easy for you to find. I’ve become a big fan. As a budget pour it’s great neat and mixes well.

ECBP was not in stock like is usually is so I figured I'd try toasted barrel. First time I've found the toasted there.
The one EHT bottle I have is Single Barrel and while not bad I don't find it really great. Hoping I like BP more.
