I need to pick up another. I actually have no rye right now.

 

I really like it. It's thick, creamy and a very long burn. Very unique. You can taste a little jack daniel's no.7 in the profile but it's nothing like that with the high rye. Interesting roller coaster ride. The beautiful bottle and the magic juice inside is definitely worth much more than 70 dollars.

That Jack Daniels single barrel special release rye is so stinkin good. I only got 1 bottle and it’s almost gone.

 

I spoke with a total wine manager and they said blantons will no longer be available to buy for the average consumer. You have to be on their rewards program at some high level.

 

I had the Tullamore Dew last night and again tonight. Good stuff for SPD celebrations.

Preferences. Last fall I won the door prize, a bottle of Blanton's for $5 more than Costco has it for once a year when it's in stock.

 

It’s fake allocation. It’s available every few days at the distillery. They can drive up the hype if they limit their production. They did the same with Weller SR (it’s once every three months at the distillery.. but EHT SmB is once a day any day it is on the shelf, and ifs infinitely superior).

we see it come in about once a month here, and if your any good at hunting you could easily drive around and snag a case, and at retail

last shipment (last week) my normal store got 6 EHTSM with the Blantons, I showed up for taylor and declined the Blanton

 

Finally picked up a couple of these today, going to crack one open when I get home

 

I really like the uncut. A buddy of mine got me the small batch when he was in Vegas, waiting to crack that one open though

 

Think of me next time haha. The stores that get it locally for me have managers that tip friends off (which is fine, but sucks for me).

EHT SmB is great. I think it’s much better than OWA107 at the same price.

 

Blantons? I’ll grab extra, not a problem

I can’t compare EHTSM and OWA, I feel they are so different, love them both for what they are

I’m sipping on some Taylor small batch tonight. Prolly crack a bowmans tomorrow. I bought abut a dozen bottles last year when it was 27.99 and stocked up. It’s good stuff!

 

I thought it was good. To me it had a green apple flavor

 

Not sure which label this 114 proof stout finished MGP is under, but it's good!
