This past week got introduced to Pendleton Whisky. We tried both original and Midnight.

Very good, smooth. Not totally sure the cost of the Midnight is worth the up-charge but was noticeably better than the original.

Stopped by the newer state store a couple days ago and they had a good selection!
I haven’t had the McKenna before it’s pretty good.

The middle is some leftover Blantons but not sure it makes a difference in the taste or not.

McKenna 10 is awesome. Keeps going up in price and harder and harder to get. 2 years it was 40 now it’s 50. Good juice though.

McKenna just jumped to 60 last week here…sad to say it’s an easy pass at that price. It was 30 when I got into bourbon, was an amazing pour at 30.

I paid just under 50 before taxes. It certainly is good.

Lots of people I know love McKenna. It was almost a drain pour for me. It was one of the few bourbons that I truly didn’t like. Even as a cocktail, I didn’t enjoy it. Oh well, lots and lots of others I do, especially in that price range. Cheers

A friend of mine bought me this from a local distillery. All their bourbon is good, but Ryeconic is excellent! And best of all it’s 10 minutes from my house in Pigeon Forge!

Full trd pro suspension. Toytec progressive add-a-leaf pack (with overload in). Sema trd 4runner rims. 285 70 17 ridge grapplers. Satoshi grill.
Best thing I could get when they were $30. Now I never see it and if I do it's $70+ for McKenna and $65 for Buffalo. Absurd

Damn, just finding the whiskey talk on here. Anyway, my haul from last night. Lucky to have a buddy who manages a store so I tend to get a call when he has some decent stuff available.

Its funny that I took Blantons for granted while I was living in VA. The ABC next to me always had it for basically half of what its sold for in CA... IF you can even find it.

like that with a lot of stuff. Eagle Rare & McKenna 10 year I easily grabbed off the shelf a couple years ago. Now hard to find and not worth the current prices. I try to keep enough Blanton I can drink at will, currently have 5 bottles I got at MSRP.

Its cutthroat out there. I dont think it's ever going to return to normal. Our stockpiling habits will see to that.
