Larceny is great for the price. Try to find yourself a barrel proof. It is amazing.

I am surprised you all like Larceny so much, I remember I tried it years ago and hated it.

I’m not opposed to paying that kind of money for bourbon if I really like it. My problem is I just can’t get myself to like HMK10. On ice it’s tolerable but, at least the bottles I have I just don’t really like. Maybe a different barrel would be better. IDK.

Yes, I am from Ohio, the land of Weller. I have traded Weller with many of you. I do not like to post what I trade for though, and try to keep that between me and who I am trading with.

OWA is getting harder to get here. I usually have to stand in line for an hour or two to get the chance for one bottle. I usually end up with 5 to 10 bottles a year. Unfortunately, there are many people here in Ohio that know we are in the land of Weller and are just trying to make some money by selling it for outrages prices on the secondary market. I am not that person. I am not in it to make money. I really like this TW community and just want to spread the wealth and trade for bottles I can not get or are hard to find here in Ohio.

I am currently out of OWA at the moment. I am trying to get more. I will never pay more than retail for it though.

My next treasure hunt is 1792 Sweet Wheat. The local ABC has only ever seen it once.

That’s cool it’s fairly accessible, but I would certainly pay secondary before I waited in line for an hour or two for a chance. No freaking way I’m waiting in a line for a chance to buy bourbon lol. It’s great you were able to hook someone up on here you though.

Stopped in at local store this past Saturday and they had 3-4 bottles sitting out for $45 each. I had one opened at home along with another unopened one but after talking to the owner for awhile and having a mini-tasting of some other whiskeys he had, figured I'd pick one up as a way of saying thanks. The Weller 107 was going for $129 and he had a bottle of Pappy 10 for $900. Still too rich for my blood.
