    Only two places I can think of where that would happen;

    1. State controlled liquor stores
    2. Total Wine, for about 2 hours once word gets out. I got mine that way a few years ago. Never seen it since. Gotta be quicker than that!

    Well, again, MSRP is 40ish, but in reality good luck.

    Both Taylor and Eagle Rare are $100 for me if you see them.

    I don’t understand the price hike on the Eagle Rare in non controlled states.

    It’s not nearly as popular as the other BT products. The only one easier to find is the Sazerac Rye (which I rather enjoy).

    Forgot to mention that I did look into this and the quickie mart did have one bottle, but for $109. I decided to pass. At $75 I would’ve pulled the trigger for sure.

    Regular 4 Roses may be some of the worst swill I’ve ever drank but the Single Barrel isn’t bad. I went and poured myself a little tonight.

    I don’t have any bitters and passed up some at Woodford Reserve because of the price. What do you think of the Regan’s bitters?

    The Regans is pretty good in the orange. Never had any others. It’s the only orange bitters my closest liquor store Has on a regular basis. They always have my second favorite (Jefferson’s Ocean) in stock for around $60-$65 so I cannot complain to much.

    For all those beating up McKenna, I wonder if there’s a lot of variation between barrels. Some people love it. Maybe there are some bad barrels.

    Blanton's is the same way. I've had bottles that tasted different from one to another. It's not uncommon with single barrel bourbons.

    It happens with just about every whiskey. It's really hard (read: impossible) to make climate conditions and barrel wood characteristics identical across the whole warehouse. So small variations are endemic to the game. But rarely are they noticeable and even more rarely does it matter if they are.

    This is one reason blends became popular - it's actually easier to be consistent with a blended product.

    This is the reason I stopped buying Blanton's. Three bottles in a row were terrible. Not even Just OK, but bad. It's a lottery that I lost too many times to play anymore.

    Four Roses single barrel was also the same, so I tried their small batch and thought that was much better.

    Lol I beat up McKenna the most on here and I always say that. It’s a single barrel so…. I just can’t love the ones I have. Even though I really want too.

    Second pour of this one. Opened up a bit with some air on it. Still good, still feels a little over priced to me, but it is a 10yr SiB.
