Saw this one on here at some point, finally bought a bottle yesterday. Tried it last night. Pretty good, has a bit more of a burn than the others I have but not in a bad way

Had a crummy little cabinet that was bursting at the seams - resulted in whiskey strewn about the home office. I finally got something a little more substantial.

It's a TV armoire that I added a shelf to. It'll get some lighting in it at some point aside from the little bottle lamp.

    Top shelf:

Bottom shelf has a little overflow,non-whiskey, some of the mixin' whiskey, and my wife's wine (holders are just painted PVC):

I have two of these for end tables (show Single Barrel, Gentleman Jack, and Old No. 7). The third is just some digestifs, some empties for projects, the preserver, samples, etc.:

I see a couple of BTAC bottles in there. Have you tried that William Larue Weller? It's a pretty coveted bottle - I've never had a taste. Excellent selection of whiskey in there.

In all honesty his stock is a little low at the moment haha! The Larue is excellent. Deep bold flavors, with a bit of caramel and typically slightly lower ABV than some of the others in the antique collection. My go to's for the more rare antiques are probably the Stagg for bourbon and the Sazarac 18 for rye but I wouldn't turn any of them down obviously. Some other notable bottles in there. Four roses 125th anniversary edition small batch (empty), Four Roses Single barrel signed by Jim Rutledge (empty), Buff Trace Barrel picks and Elmer T. Lee Commemorative death edition bottled at 93 proof the age he was when he passed and a Michter's from the 70's. Also you'll notice the gold horse Blanton's peaking out behind the Lee. Speaking of Blanton's, just in case any of you didn't know, there are 8 different horses on top of the Blanton's bottle one for each letter of of the name. They act out different stages of a horse race from start to finish. Kinda fun to collect if you're into that kind of thing.

Welp, I drank the last of my Suntory Hibiki tonight. At ~$65 a bottle, I think it’s one of the best non-Scotches I’ve ever had. Japan does it right.

Almost picked up a bottle of that last weekend, guess I’ll have to give it a shot. I love the Nikka Coffey Grain and have heard good things about other Japanese whiskies

Love the Corry. Personally I like Ugedail a little more, but Corry is a huge step up from the 10 yr. Nice work!
