Today's conquest. Got lucky at the local ABC again as the clerk sprang a BT on me this time. One of the Knob 12s is for @Hook78 because teamwork makes the dream work.

Poor guy! No wonder little guy can't sleep. Probably knows what you're having and you're not sharing!

Long weekend nightmare round trip by car journey to NY diary day 1:

Sailsbury, MD: the wife mentioned that she had wanted to bring some Widow Jane up to her brother’s. What’s that you say, you want me to hunt for bourbon? Say no more. I sprang to action. Many, many calls later I found not only the dear Widow, but two bottles of Buffalo Trace with my wife standing in for the one bottle per person per day government ration. Unfortunately I didn’t see the “ask for our military discount before the transaction is final” until the transaction was, well, final. 10%!! Oh well. We then crossed the road to Popeye’s where four workers successfully ignored us for thirty minutes despite intense glaring and throat clearing. The UPS guy in front of us waited even longer…maybe some packages won’t get delivered today. Maybe I’ll never know if I’ll “love that chicken from Popeye’s”.

On to Delaware, where Blanton’s is available if you care to open your pocket for $175.
