Speaking of I was at Walmart getting oil for the wife’s car and I saw Buffalo trace on the shelf. I was a bit impressed actually.

Consider that Knob Creek single barrel reserve, the 120 proof, as well. Higher proof on a known winner, still age stated 9 years.

You gotta love states with no liquor control.

I’ve never seen this. Must be in the infamous Swansboro store that’s always closed.

How is bardstown bourbon company? I go past it every few months and watched it being built but wasn’t impressed when I stopped by. It seemed too gimmicky or forced or formula-like for a blended bottle. Maybe trying to justify the price?? Either way, feedback is in order before I buy a bottle.

so I have a few expressions from them…seems like the fusion series is a complete gamble, but the price isn’t bad. What you really want to be drinking is the discovery series. If I remember correctly all are really good except for 3-4, problem is they are retail for 150ish.

if money isn’t a problem I’d say pick one up, but otherwise go grab 3-4 bottles of something else. Have it at a bar to say you tried it

I did pick up the KBS bottle, it was my favorite beer for a long time, haven’t opened yet, waiting for a buddy of mine to come over. Excited tho

I have to agree that peet isn’t my fav at all but this is a very low level and everything about it is quite pleasant. The more I sipped on it the more I enjoyed it.

I'm gonna get in that chorus somewhere. It's damn good at the price. I haven't tried my bottle of Barrel Proof yet but @Hook78 gives it good marks.

Hit 4 Cabarrus County ABC stores today. Nothing worth getting and not a single IW Harper 15 Year to be found.

Sorry you didn't get picked. I'm 3 for 4, or maybe 4 for 5 now, on getting the booby prize here in CA. I've still got 2 virgins, not sure yet if I'll pick this one up.

That one is smooth as hell, had it with my buddy few weeks ago. Seriously considering adding a few bottles to my cabinet.

Clerk hinted yesterday I should come back around this morning at my local. 3 BTs on the shelf, and @Hook78 was already in the airspace so he parachuted in to grab a bottle as well.

Grabbed an OGD 114 too since I was out.

Not much on the list other than unicorns right now. Cabinet's lookin healthy these days:
