Anyone else here a Maker's Mark Ambassador?

You can go to their web page and sign up as an ambassador - costs nothing to do. In about 9 months, they notify you that your name has been placed on a brass plaque on one of their barrels - you can view the plate. After about 7 years, when the barrle is opened, you'll be invited to the plant and can hand-dip 2 bottles from "your" barrel.

Every Christmas, they send their Ambassadors a gift - this year we got these bottle sweaters (the two flanking the big one in the middle). My wife and I both signed up as Ambassadors so we each got a sweater.

Yes, you can actually get something for free these days!!

Crown is awesome and so is Seagrams, 53, Canadian Club and Gibson's. There are plenty of them. True consumers are not fussy.

YES - I got 2 bottles of the 20 Year for my Dad n Myself last year (Wasn't easy to track those down in the PNW - took I think 4/5 months). It was amazing but I have to say I like the 15 year over the 20 Year.

Have you ever had a chance to try A.H. Hirsch Reserve - 16 Year?

I had that wonderful privilege last September in Brooklyn New York at Freeman's.
best Bourbon I have ever had...HANDS DOWN.
