Didn't see a thread like this. Thought it might be interesting to share what you favorite mod (including cost and why), your most worst/regretted mod has been and what you most wanted mod currently is. Feel free to add pictures!

    Favorite:
    Rek gen mudflaps
    Cost <$100
Why-love the way they look and protection they provide.

    Worst:
    Ebay vinyl decals
    Cost <$50
Why-tried to apply to achieve a retro stripe tribute and applied them myself and they aren't perfect (too many bubbles and tears)!

    Most wanted:
    Wheels/tires
    Price >$1,000
Why-I've really been inspired by alot of pics here to do the VOLK TE37 wheels but its hard to swallow the price.

    Let's hear your list :)

Favorite- probably wheels and tires. Upgraded to Method NV’s in bronze and 285/75/16 KO2’s. Meso blacked out turn signals are a close second though.

Not worst but should’ve thought it out more- Gatortrax cover. I think it’s a great cover, just wished it didn’t take up a foot of the truck bed. I have a short bed so making my bed 4’ instead 5’ was no good. Awesome cover though! Looking to get a Diamondback or Leer/Snugtop Topper soon to replace it.

Most wanted mod(s)- Apart from what I listed above I want to upgrade my suspension and get aftermarket front and transmission skids.

    Happy modding TW!

Worst - ARE Cap - It didn't give me the space I had hoped and it shifted on the bed causing some paint blemishes.

Best - TRD Beadlock wheels - I love, love, love them.

Most Wanted - Bed bar / light bar / roll bar / whatever you want to call it bar. I've had one on each of my prior trucks, I can't break the streak.

Nah love my baby to pieces, now I can’t store my golf clubs in the cab when I want to go out and eat after a round. Too many sticky fingers to leave them in the bed for a good amount of time.

So far not a worst... maybe least fav. would be door sill protectors, cheap carbon knockoffs from ebay.
    Fav. = Pro Comp level 2.25" / 1"
Most wanted = TRD / Fox Tuned shocks from Pro model

Can’t say I have a worst, I try to read a ton and bother the heck out of you guys before I spend my money.

Best is possibly the Undercover Ultra Flex bed cover as I carry a lot of gear and it’s somewhat secure. Cost was $850

Most wanted is my SSO low profile hybrid winch bumper but it’s probably still 2 months out but I can wait, also wanting to do BFG’s around the time I get a shipping notice on my bumper. Together this package will cost me around $2100.

I like the small things that don’t cost a fortune like my Tufskinz tailgate inserts for $49.

For sure the best mod was the OME BP-51 kit w/ Dakars. Love it. I won't be Baja'ing the Taco but it's super smooth and light years ahead of the stock OR suspension.

Favorite: RX350 retrofit and RCI sliders. Hard to say which one I like better since I’ve benefited from them both.

Worst: Xpel headlight protection film. It didn’t cover the whole light and was a pain to install correctly. Ended up taking them off.

    Most wanted: 16” SCS F5’s

Worst - knock off seat covers similar to Wet Okoles - starting to rip after a couple years.

Best - Softopper, covers the bed when protection is needed, folds out of the way when open bed is needed.

Most wanted - better wheel/tire combo, waiting until OEMs wear out.

Best - Clazzio seat covers, enjoy them every time I climb into the truck.

Worst - Hondo radio knobs, after a week I thought they were too small and didnt fit quite right. When I tried to push them down to make them tighter I could no longer shut my radio off. Eventually replaced with the Tacoweidi knobs.

Desired - I think I'm done now unless they come out with a 275/70/17 tire under 50lbs. Theres plenty of 285 tires under 50lbs, why not a 275?

    1. Seat height adjustment.... I think it made a difference when installed, now I don't know
    2. Cup holder inserts (neoprene and turned out to be quite thick)

    Desired:
