I dunno. This show just lacks Rick. I'm looking for it to pick up. Throwing Johnny Dep Jr. to the Zombies would be a good start.

Lolol...they just need to get past this drug addict phase with him and he will be great. He's the only one who understands what's going on within that family. Travis is annoying thinking he can help them. Maybe having 5 years of watching the other gang kill first, ask questions later makes me not feel anything for most of these people while they act dumb. If it supposed to be set in a world just like ours then they would have seen movies and tv shows that would make them go for the head and run instead of trying to help a zombie feel better...

I'm not wanting to start a gun debate but I felt it was pretty annoying how Travis "doesn't like guns" come on man society is unraveling you need protection.
I did like Daniels come back though.

I don't think they've got to the point yet where they feel society has completely unravelled , especially in light of his comments at the end of the episiode how " the cavalry has arrived , it will get better now "

Travis is weak right now. The old Mexican man seems to be wired much better. He at least showed the kid what he needed to know about the gun. I'm really liking this show so far the build up is pretty slow but makes for a great background on the actors.

So the only weapons they have is a double barrel shotgun with half box of shells and a hammer.

Also I think the military probably killed Patrick because he was covered in infected blood.

The guy and his family are actually El Salvadorian. Now, we may be getting come clues into the origin again. The age of the him and his wife put them into the demographic that were in the El Savador civil war, where the government military was warring with militia factions. With how he is reacting to the infected, and seeming to know head shots kill and to burn the bodies, maybe this is something he witnessed way back then in El Salvador? The wife also seems to not be too affected by what has been going down as she told her daughter during their family convo that they have been in worse situations.

I think we may have been tipped off a little bit with regards to the origin of the sickness that brings about the zombie apocalypse. All we need for confirmation is for Daniel to mention he's seen this before when he was younger, or something to that effect.

That's true, but in reality people are really like that. My dad is a Vietnam war vet and he hates guns. He never wanted them in the house when I was growing up. I never asked why as a kid, but I can understand why now that I am an adult with a family of my own, and knowing the crazy stuff he went through over there.

I just want to know what makes everyone a carrier of it and why it doesn't make corpses come up from the earth? It's like something in the atmosphere changed (like in The Happening) that all of sudden made people respawn when they died and anyone who died before remains unchanged...

I think the mom has picked up on what's going on pretty quickly. Did you notice how coolly she told the soldier that the obvious gravesite was where they buried their dog.

I did exspect them to maybe be a little faster since they aren't totally rotted yet like most on TWD

Right - the guy whispered that to Rick and he told everyone what he said later at the camp fire before they found the farm. What I want to know is how everyone got it. Why now. If everyone has it, why is it that now people don't stay dead. Like if everyone has it, why didn't this happen 10 years ago? Something changed causing it. People weren't born with it...

I'm enjoying it more with each episode, but Capt. Jack Sparrow has got to die quick! Not because he's a bad actor or something, but he's just too distracting. It takes you out of the moment.

And why don't people talk? Communication is critical and yet nobody talks about what they've seen. If I killed a kid... he came back... I shot him... he came back... backed over him with my Tacoma (gotta keep it relevant to the forum lol)... he came back... drop kicked him with the front of my Tacoma... and he still gets up wanting to eat me then I would be telling everybody I could what just happened.

If a policeman is eating a dude's face - I would say something.
If I bashed my bosses skull in with a fire extinguisher - I would say something.
If somebody tried to bite me while dripping blood - I might mention that, too.

Granted, they likely never heard of "zombies" in this "world", and there is confusion. But just once, I'd love to see somebody walk in a room and when asked "what's going on dad?", they reply like somebody really would : "Holy crap! I just saw that hipster eating the face off a hockey player! I don't know what's going on but here's what I know..."

All that said, I love me some zombies and will keep watching. :)

Since it is fairly recent, maybe chemtrails? There would have to be a larger conspiracy for world wide distribution, but that seems like something that could effect everyone without them knowing about it, or avoiding due to suspicions like flu shots.
