Fear The Walking Dead

Yeah, my thought is that they're hoping to kill the infection by eliminating everyone that may have been exposed. Kind of reminds me of the story line in the movie Outbreak where they're going to drop a thermite bomb on some small town for the same reason.

 

That's what I was imagining too. Especially once they showed all the military leaving at night. I think by the end of the finale the group will reunite with Depp Jr. and his new buddy and one of the main group members will be bitten. My bet is the daughter and of course the new guy. The black guy always dies first...

6 episodes is a "season" these days.

 

Next year will be more - Pilot seasons are usually short, 7 or less. I would imagine next season they get 12-14 episodes. They could also split it up where they have TWD from Oct-Dec., Fear from Dec.-Mar., TWD from Mar.-Jun., and then Fear back for the summer again. I know TWD always goes on a stupid long break over the winter mid season. I would hope they will fill in with Fear to bridge the gap...

 

Maybe that will be the start of the all out shit storm.

I think I'll wait until all 16 are available and "binge" watch them. I don't think I could handle it in less than 1 min. increments. per week. I guess I can just watch them if my DVR catches them on the weekly recording on TWD too.

I keep reading Madison is the new Rick but Travis is the one is getting in all the action. I thought it was a good episode. Next week should be good. Hustler and junkie Nick escaping.

Yes......He got the job done! The info about the 0900 evacuation will save all their butts! BUT......he'll probably go ape shit when he finds out about his wife passing.

 

He's a realist. I think he just assumes she's already gone. He'll be focused on keeping Ophilia(sic) safe.

I think we will find out Travis is a veteran that saw some shit and swore off fighting, instead of embracing it like Daniel. I think that will make him the better leader, trying to keep humanity and good will alive. But will be able to do what he has to once he accepts it. He knew how to handle the 50 cal, but had a hard time looking down the scope, like he was flashing back to something.

 

I don't think so, not a combat vet at least. I guess we will see.
His issue with the scope was he knew the waitress.

 

Anybody else find it kind of too convienient and anti climactic the way the head military guy was just " gone " ?

Like did something else happen to him ? Did his own troops off him , so they could bail ?

 

Yup. My money is that he had and "accident", or they left him to die and he somehow escaped and will turn up later.
