I enjoyed this season premiere

Why did Johnny Derp want the yacht book so bad?

 

and who did he hear ?

 

I thought it was a great season premiere. Operation Cobalt was in effect and they got out of there as LA and the surrounding cities were being fire bombed. This Operation must have been coast to coast because that is the same thing that happened in Atlanta on TWD.

All the characters are great IMO, with the exception of Chris. Granted, he did go through something devastating and his stupid mom didn't even have the decency to tell him the truth last season and to say goodbye. He is worse than Carl.

Alicia did something pretty dumb and now she's going to learn that lesson the hard way. Pirates are on the way and they seem pretty cutthroat as evident by the shot up boat and walkers they found. Earlier in the episode, I thought is was smart that they didn't pick up the boat of refugees. Yeah, they got a nice comfy ship for the 7 of them, but they are short on supplies and this is a game of survival now. You got to look out for yourself and immediate group first and foremost. I am glad Travis thought that was as well.

Strand is such a good character. I'm looking forward to his leadership of the group and am glad nobody really wants to challenge that. The only one that comes close to challenging is Maddie, but I think that's just because she still hasn't completely let go of the old world.

Hopefully the encounter with the pirates can be turned to their benefit. I am anticipating Salazar setting up something to deal with them. The only weapons they have is the shotgun and pistol, whereas the pirates seem to have at least one automatic weapon (probably an AK47).

Nick is still a great character. He seems to be thriving here in the apocalypse, almost enjoying this new life. Also, it almost seems like there might be something developing with Claudia. Get it, Nick!

 

He wanted the log book to read about what happened to the boat and maybe see if there are any worthy info noted.

 

I think he was showing the effects of no sleep. But I do think he does have some military background that we don't know of.

 

Are we sure Strand owns the house and yacht?

 

I was hoping Chris was going to join his mom and swim with the fishes. Couldn't stand him last season and now he's even worse. Hopefully he doesn't bring his dad down the same way that Sam did Jesse.

 

Maybe they are the only weapons we know about. Strand seems like he was pretty well prepared for what went down. I wouldn't be surprised if the was a weapons locker somewhere on the yacht.

 

Anybody else think the " pirates " are the Coast Gaurd ?

 

Could be, that capsized boat was riddled with some deck gun sized holes.

 

I was thinking it was a possibility. There was the message from the "Coast Guard" that they nobody is coming and everyone is gone. But rogue military squads are common place in apocalypse stories. So these pirates very well may be a Coast Guard unit gone rogue.

 

Zombies can breathe in water? Shite.

 

I don't think the zombies need to breathe at all

 

Then why do they make noise?

 

Boring episode but I understand why. Looking forward to next week.

 

Hey TW bros, where the heck can I watch FTWD Flight 462 full episodes??? Are they on Hulu, AMC, where? Also, for the AMC, do you have to pay to watch or ??? I didn't know about a "mini-series" as I thought the whole time that it was part OF the second season actual episodes, if you get my meaning?! I didn't KNOW that it was an actual, again, mini-series until I read about it right now from your guys' posts... LOL!!!

My thoughts about 2nd Season Ep. 1, I agree that it is the Coast Guard gone rogue or something?! I thought it was a pretty good episode and yes, they need to shoot Chris. I get it, he just lost his mom and all, but WELL BEFORE THAT, that character is a F'N brat bros that just needs a good B'down!!! I LOVE the actor that portrays Nick's character! He is VERY GOOD and I see him as the next up and coming Johnny Depp!!! He makes a very good dope addict, IMHO!!! Just an awesome actor bros. Maddie, she needs to get shot in the heart, die, come back, burned while she is a zombie, and then shot in the head! I can't stand her character! Alycia, pretty good look'n broad, but head full of air bros!!! I LOVE Daniel as he shows he knows what it takes to survive and especially given his past experiences as a child. Anyways, just some thoughts about some of the characters.

Oh, Strands, THAT is another character/actor that is VERY GOOD!!! I LOVE his character, but, don't know if I would trust his "endgame"???

Sorry for the long post. I hope you guys can point me in the right direction to watch the flight 462 episodes?
