Another good/great episode for this season. The first half of the season is turning out pretty damn good. I like that our survivors are starting to get used to the new norm, and will kill for their own survival and well being now. The background story for Strand was pretty interesting, and now we know the destination in Baja that he is anxious to get too. I am not surprised that his character is gay.



But it still was interesting. We know what motivates Strand now and he seems to be more than indebted to Tomas Abigail. I also love that we got a new bad ass with the group in Luis. He's already proved to be a capable shot and dependable. He accepts that Strand brought in more people and didn't have any qualms about it. He seems like a decent guy and may be FTWD's version of Daryl. We need characters like that, somewhat of an ace up the sleeve, if you will.

So, Connor is the bad guy in town huh? I wonder how big his crew is now that our survivors are ready to go to war to rescue Travis and Alicia. I am sure we'll get a little bit of battle with a little bit of internal turmoil and drama from Alicia and Jack. Maybe Jack will be another addition to the survivors by helping in the escape with a promise to take him along? Overall, I have to say I have really enjoyed this first half of season 2. Kirkman and Erickson are doing a fantastic job with this series.

 

Jack is going to die. He will help with the escape like you said and look to join the group but he will die trying

 

Yeah, most likely. Strand already doesn't want more people coming. What do you think he'll say about a guy that was responsible for him getting shot at and left to die in the ocean?

 

With only three episodes left the question I'm wondering is who out of the main cast will bite the dust? I will be happy if it's Chris or anybody else besides Nick, Alicia or Strand. I would like to see the group develop into an evil group and the story is from that point of view.

 

Until the mid season break? It's a 15ep season...

I think the expendable characters at this point are Strand, Daniel, and maybe Nick. And of course, any red shirts

Pretty good ep. This show doesn't spend a lot of time on one arc. TWD draws out a threat for a whole season where Fear knocks it out in 2 eps. Maybe it's some kind of parallel to show how fast things happened when the outbreak was early on...

Still don't know how this chick from the plane will fit in. Maybe that was all she was needed for. Didn't make any sense to me why she wanted Travis so bad. If anything get Strand, he cut the rope...

 

Good episode tonight it's moving a lot faster then I remember.

I think Alex wanted Travis because he suggested that they pull the raft and she said to him that he knew what would ultimately happen. She held him equally responsible. I can't wait to see Daniel's backstory and why he's hearing voices. Also glad they got rid of at least one Millennial this episode.

 

She probably doesn't know this. Iirc, it was dark when Strand did it.

There doesn't seem to be much pirate group left for her to lead. Who's left? We know for sure her, the prego in the cage, and Jack - who may or may not want to even be there. Reed said Conner had five people and two died with him at the exchange, correct?

His backstory was given last season. He was an interrogator/torturer in Columbia. My thought is he's a decent human being at heart and carries some guilt over what he's done, even though he felt it was justified.

 

Yeah, Connor got bit, I think another one got bit too, and then the one that attacked Daniel. I think they all died?

They gave a small bit of his backstory about his interrogations, but they didn't dive in. Seems like there is a lot more going on if he is hearing voices. I think it said something like 'take the gun.' I'm sure it will continue to play out and we will learn more. Then he will die...because that is how this universe works. Make me like them and then take them away from me

 

Wasn't dark when Strand cut the rope to the raft. I think she's mad because everyone just stood there and did nothing about it.

 

I still don't get it. He was the only nice one. Said sorry we can't let you on, but we can give you food and water and tow you around. And yes, it wasn't dark when Strand walked out and hacked the rope. She saw him do it.
