There's an actual gain to that, and it's an option. A logo on a bracket is entirely useless.

Here is just a small showing of what CC can do:

No doubt the manual keeps the driver more engaged and can be “more fun” but the auto with CC is more capable / can get you more places than 98% of drivers out there in a manual.

I might. But I don't want it to look cheesier than it already does. It won't scratch off, I tried already.

A cow catcher. Mainly to get all these blue hairs out of my way.... driving 38 in the passing lane when the speed limit is 45.

I tested it myself on a ditch with loose rock and bigger stones.... System sounded like a can of marbles being shaken but sure enough, got me through it, no problem.

Im sure CC isn’t infallible, but it sure can be a great help on a situation where you may otherwise have no other recourse.

I think you might need to look up what crawl control actually does, it is slow speed cruise control. MTS is what controls the brakes independently, manuals have it too but called A-TRAC

Crawl Control is legit. Never thought I’d need it or use it, then I needed it. The so-called gimmick may have saved me from disaster on one occasion.

Unless you can precisely feather the brake and feather the gas at the same time, and chose which wheel you want the power to go to, and which one you want to brake, simultaneously, using psychic powers, it’s pretty hard to duplicate the effect of CC with normal driving techniques.

Crawl Control is like the vehicle is being ‘indexed’ forward across the terrain.

Yes, but the connection still has to be paid for by somebody. I just use the term 'data' since that's what most folks can relate to, sorry for the confusion.

The “getting unstuck” feature is not something I’ve needed so far, but I have used it as a hill-descent control driving down a road that looked more like a frozen waterfall at the time.

Havent “needed it” either. But its better to have it and not use it than need it and not have it.
