I locked door built inside the truck bed to store a rifle, kinda like a Ram Sportsmans edition had that I once seen. I use to throw my rifle in my back seat but it has a baby car seat now.

I don't think a gas cap holder is necessary, but when you want to find things to do with your 3D printer...

Mechanically linked gas pedal and none of that emissions-saving rev whathavenot on the 6mt. As though the 100 people buying a modern fuel injected emissions everything else truck are having any appreciable effect for emissions related CO2/O2 or other gases. Just stick a catalytic converter on (1) international shipping barge.

I think you gotta add a few zeros to your math. Don’t know if you live in the boonies, but they are selling 10 Tacomas a day in my area, and I’m pretty much in the boonies. I think they are selling over 15,000 Tacomas a month now.

Wanting to be a polluter isn’t really cool. It sounds cool for a minute, til you start actually thinking about it.

I'd say powered rear sliding window (came out in 17)
    Rear window defrost
    Bed lights (did my own)
Powered seats with more seat height
    Should come with better tires

6MT-- given less than 5% take rate and 200,000 tacoma sales (pretty generous) yearly translates to 10,000 trucks that are 6MT. 1 ocean shipping barge is estimated to put out the equivalent of nearly 50,000,000 cars http://www.enfos.com/blog/2015/06/2...ntainer-ship-can-out-pollute-50-million-cars/. Youre right, Im off by a few zeros in the sense that you can pretty much take every tacoma ever sold and remove all pollution control and still be under what a barge puts out.

But back to what I was saying, I was referring simply to the mechanical linkage controlled throttle body control vs the current computer controlled unit with the rev-hang that is supposedly there for emissions or some other purpose. Just take out that little bit of the control, the little portion of the fuel map where they try to squeeze just 1 fewer puff of emissions from the blip in the throttle that is the current 6MT gas pedal mapping, and Id be happy.

We all have to do our part. Even niche-market MT guys. Being a polluter when you don’t have to just isn’t cool, no matter what the “barge” is doing.

Same argument that having just one or two slaves is ok......cause they got thousands of slaves in India!

You're absolutely right and I will revoke my "wish" for a mechanical linkage on the gas pedal that eliminates the computer controlled rev-hang fuel blip.

A place to step on the bumper when getting into the bed with the tailgate down. Sofa King jealous every time I see a GM with the foot cutout in the bumper corners.
