This is killing me, I was wanting to join you guys on the November trip and then my truck got rear ended...thanks to insurance I still haven't gotten my truck back. If and when I get my truck back I will be down to hit a trail.

Not bad at all. Bumper was messed up, tailgate was a bit dinged up, some electrical issues which is why it's been taking so long. That and insurance likes to get away with doing the least amount possible. Jokes on them...the bill for the rental car has been adding up this whole time.

As far as where to go Saturday, I have no ideas. Not privy to all the off-road trails around here.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
Can't make anything this Saturday, but should be open next Saturday (23rd). Obviously everything is going to be a snow run. Even Tahuya still has a foot of snow in it. That area is kind of weird with the weather, but it should be starting to melt out. Down around my area there is Haller Pass up the 75 road off Hwy 410 or Copley Lake above Carbonado. There's the Beckler Road and Foss River Road off Hwy 2. Or I'm always up for meeting at a Brewery.

Have you been up near Copley the last few weeks? I’m assuming there’s a lot of snow and a rut already cut through the road making it really hard to turn around specially with a group....... but I won’t be able to make it this weekend either, next weekend is also a maybe depending on if we have day plans for my birthday

I haven't been to Copley in a few years, but I would amuse the same this time of the year. Deep ruts and deep snow. The 75 road will probably be the same. I'm thinking any FS road that's open to wheeled traffic is going to have the same issues with all the snow we've gotten.

75 road was plowed a few weeks ago because theyre logging up there so it made it easier for people to go up on the weekends. I’m not a fan of traffic in the woods so I’ve stayed away from there for a bit

A brewery might be best idea until more snow melts. I'm still 100% stock so can't go do super-crazy (fun) stuff yet.
So maybe brewery this weekend and trail run next??
@ericmtnbkr ... Would you be so kind as to set us up for this Saturday at Chainline?

Tahuya is gonna be a mess. We're just north of Green Mountain at 550 feet elevation and had 29" from the storm. It's melting but there's still over a foot of now very wet snow on the ground. I still need 4lo to get out our 1/4 mile driveway as it dips down and back up a small ravine.

Yea, if it's been plowed, everyone and their grandma is going to be up there. I'm in the same boat about traffic and have a tendency to avoid it.

I was wondering about that. My wife has relatives that live off the Bear Creek Road and they have a tendency to get a lot of snow.

I’m driving into the mountains Sunday. Anyone interested is welcome to
Join. I plan to do 15-20 miles in gravel/ forest service road. Build a fire. Make some food. Enjoy the outdoors. Maybe do some exploring. Then head back.
