Fed up with my Taco

I would fit right in over there. I have a pair of prescription Oakley Turbines that I paid almost 700.00 for. They have transition lenses that get darker with sunlight. I need them for riding so they were going to be my day/night riding glasses. They are alright when dark but clear, I look like some 70’s porn movie producer. They sat in the box for 2 years until I found out that the original iridium polarized lenses were in the box. As for ball caps, I don’t need them yet.

there should be either a stickied thread for these topics or a stickied thread that warns users from creating the same thread that someone else made for the same reasons.

 

At the Ford dealers around me, if you are not wearing a ball cap, the most they’ll let you test drive is a Focus.

I’ve never owned a Ford truck. Are the trucks they are making today worth a shit?

yes they are. Their boosted engine trucks are awesome. Really incredible power delivery, efficiency, and comfort. The F150 deserves its popularity for sure.

 

I have. I think being outdated is sort of the allure, like the Tundra, 2nd Gen & 4Runner

 

I have a buddy who is a master mechanic at an independent garage and they have a newer f150 as their company vehicle. He tells me the opposite. Long term you’re going to spend money.

 

Mine is company truck so I don’t really care. It blows the doors off my Toyota. In general, the Fords I have driven for work over the last 25 years have never let me down, and I can’t think of any in the fleet that are a problem. Never had one fail or not start on me. Fords are fine.
