There is no emmissions sticker under the hood. On the door it states"This vehicle conforms to all applicable federal vehicle safety and theft preventions standards."

Does this mean that I do not have to put a carb cat on here if the state I register it in does not require a carb cat. Am I good to go with a EPA cat?

If you live in Lala land (Calif.) You'll have to install a carb-compliant cat. If outside in the normal USA. just any cat for it will do.

this. Which CA cats cost a lot more. Smog station likely going to either ask for a receipt, check for stamp plaque on part, or both.

I’m in Mass, we have to get our trucks inspected every year at $35 a pop, but they just plug into your OBD to make sure your ball joints are good make sure your horn works all your safety stuff and all set
