As the title says fedex F..up my s/c. I bought a super charger from a member here Chvylac. He bought it new but never installed to he's tacoma so he sold it to me for a good deal. He shipped the supercharger last week throughout fedex with a $4k insurance so they would be careful with it but it seems they didn't care. Received the package today and saw that under the pulley where the supercharger attaches to the engine and bolts a pulley holder was broken. Then checked the complete package and saw a tag from fedex saying ''we regret that you package was damaged in transit'' WTF??!!??!?! Already called fedex and they send some forms to file a claim.

    Here are some pics

I don't think you're going to get much help from the S/C forum because that thing should be claimed, not repaired. Who knows how much carnage was really done to the S/C when it was damaged. For all you know the body of the S/C could have small cracks in the metal you may not be able to see. Have the seller claim the insurance and get your money back from him. That's the best solution rather than trying to install a damaged part.

This sort of thing happened to an Apple Laptop I ordered off eBay a long time ago. Follow the insurance process and it'll all work out though it may take a bit of time.

Hmmm, when my laptop was damaged the shipper had to claim the insurance. That was with USPS though, so Fedex could have a different policy. In my case the shipper/seller was able to get full insurance, send me a replacement product, and give me a bit of a thank you gift within about a month. I'm one hundred percent sure the shipper did have to give the damaged goods over to USPS. I hope you can get the same results

Not at all surprised. That's why I tend to overpack things when I ship them to buyers. The delivery guys just don't really care. When URD Fedex'd me my Y pipe the thing arrived with a huge hole punched into the side of the box. Fedex ever so graciously taped over the hole though.
