Just got off the phone with the owner of a certain fab shop. My wallet's now empty but this is still me:

Quick wheeling vid of @Darkgoatracer 's truck! I thought I had way more footage of his rig from the last trip to Flagpole, but with that supercharger I just couldn't keep up. Big thanks to @smugly for providing the outro pic!

No I haven't but they aren't too far since they are in the Blacksburg area. I know they talk about going to FPK somewhat regularly.

Yeah they are pretty close to you. I've talked with them about meeting up sometime to go offroading.

I don't think they are active on TW nor do I know their screen names here. I've heard them mention TW a few times.

Make your own with a piece of flat steel, and some quickfists.

Edit: seems I'm late to the party, already suggested!

I was putting the cheesy plastic brackets that came with the fire extinguishers back in the box and noticed they have a built in strap.

    20181126_221132.jpg

So I thought they were only supported in a hanging position by the neck but now.......I have to test how well the built in strap works. My thought is, if its sufficient enough then the strap and neck support would help to keep it from twisting like it would with just a single strap.

I ordered the quick fists last night. They were $4 something each.

    The drama continues...........

Those straps are a PITA to use ... like they barely fit around the fire extinguisher making them hard to snap into place.

Ok, I didn't try but I sorta forced them into shape to see and yea, I agree, and I feel like they would not be very easy to unhook. I was thinking though, I could mount the quick fist over the bracket at the base and still utilize the C shaped neck part to help keep the extinguisher from wanting to twist. I'm going for maximum retention with maximum ease of access.

    Likely overthinking things again though.

Cool video. I liked the cool white the best since it showed the most contrast between the letters for the gear selector. I just installed my amber one today and wow I never knew what it was like having an illuminated gear selector. Now to order the right one for my fog light switch. I ordered the 4mm & 5mm ones and they are too big. So now to order the 3mm and see if that works :fingerscrossed:

Let me know which one works for the fog switch. I eventually want to swap all of mine out.

Will do I may end up pulling my gauges and a/c controls and seeing which bulbs they are and switching them. I have a TB ditch light switch and ordered it in amber to match the rest of the dash and it's more yellow :(

Gah! I hate when the LED colors aren't really as described.
