    I cant speak for everyone but I will tell you I have no freaking clue how to tell a open / open vehicle to get up anything. Lord knows I got hundreds of them stuck as a kid on the farm.

    We were. Like @TaKoToy said: the open diffs on the FJ made certain obstacles difficult regardless of the line. Before he almost tipped he looked back to check the terrain but I guess forgot about the dropoff or didn't see it until it was almost too late.

    But if you had a Spotter out there to communicate to the driver, the driver's attention would have been on the spotter where they should have been and you would have alleviated the entire situation. Just trying to make your time in the woods easier, & safer.
