Yeah I checked all of the bulbs to make sure they were fully seated (tight) and the large rubber boot that goes over the main HID unit, so I'm pretty sure it's just a weak point in the seal somewhere.

How well is the rubber boot seated on the rear of the housing? How extensive of cutting did you do to make everything fit? That seems to be where the majority of where my issues on built headlights stems from.

If you can take some rear pics I might be able to give some suggestions if that is perhaps a problem area.

I'll snap a pic of the rubber boot today at lunch for you, but I did check to make sure it was tight. *I didn't make these, they were special ordered from a TW member ...

Have you reached out to him to guide you for repairs? I saw his reply earlier so I know who built them for ya.

If I can help you in any way please feel free to reach out. I'll pm you my number.

That's a lot of condensation. With that much maybe it will be easy to see how it got in. Hoping it's a easy fix and it's good material for a how to video.

Thanks for the offer! I've done these kind of repairs before but just a pain since they fogged up with the first rain ... and they aren't exactly ebay special headlights. I'm talking with the seller about the situation.

Not to be that guy..... but I put the eBay ghetto retro in Saturday. Has rained everyday since Sunday and no condensation whatsoever, knock on wood.

I did run a thick bead of marine grade silicone around the seam and pressed it in. Hopefully it's that simple for you as well

No problem. Even if you don't need my help be sure to check (when facing the headlight) the lower left corner for a good seal. For some reason that has always been a tricky location for me when I was first starting building headlights. Given the amount of condensation I am thinking it is either coming in through the rear rubber boot or you have multiple entrances. Was this after a wash or rainstorm perhaps? I may have missed it, but just trying to get a feel for the conditions that caused it.

Exactly. Sending them back to the seller would be a bigger pain than fixing them myself. So hopefully I'll be able to find the issue and seal them up nice and tight.

Yeah I saw it. I was talking to my wife about vinyl wrap last night. Her company has a few vendors in MD that do all their wraps - I'll let you know what I can find out price wise.
