It’s hard to say for sure. I really don’t know. First time, front locker probably would’ve gotten me over. Second one, nope.

Lemme know too. It’ll only be 30 min further from where I’m at now.

When's the move? You going to start hitting uwharrie more after ? I figure it's the closest thing to a offroad park within reasonable range. I have only been twice and bad luck has kicked my ass both times.

I'm going to drop my skids and take a deeper look all over the place to see if I'm leaking anywhere else.

Cape lookout is on my bucket list! And Corolla is free most of the year for day trips!

I have a theory that frozen sleepy creek is hell on oil seals. I never would have thought I would be replacing seals on a Toyota this early.

We’re renting, but signed a 3 year lease. I’ll have a garage and if it doesn’t have a proper outlet, you better bet one will get installed!

Good on you man. I have heard nothing but how difficult and how trucks like mine couldn't make it. It is nice to see you did. Funny thing I was watching Pott's Mtn videos last night

Bring it over to the house and we can knock it out ona Saturday. If you want to reinforce the frame I have a template I made to cut those plates as well you would just need the grade 8, 1/2" hardware.

I need to research that some more does the plate stick the bumper out another 1/2 inch? I think C4 makes some plates that mount to the old sway bar mounts but dont know how effective that is. I have a ton of wiring in that area and a winch. Think I could add reinforcement without moving everything?

What do you want to do weld the IFS skid to the bumper?

:jellydance: of the garage. Although pops approved me putting a 220 in his garage and keeping a welder and some other fab tools at his house. Just gotta drive an hour to do stuff.

No I'll draw a schematic it'll be easier than explaining. Oh I forgot make new mounts for the front diff. I've got a pretty cool idea. It'll gain essentially 2" of GC at the skid and make the diff protection the lowest hanging fruit which is essentially where the skids sit currently but only in one area not completely across. Need to order some tube and bushings as well as get some 3/16" plate and 2" square tube. I come up with the craziest shit I swear.

These plates only move the bumper forward 3/16". They are reiforcing plates for the end of the frame where the bumper mounts. They also delete the dinky hardware from the factory and you use the gradde 8 hardware.

Eddy still makes the frame tie in brackets I believe

No it doesn't stick out any further and yes C4 does make the bracket that attaches to the sway bar mounting location and a through hole in the frame and the outer 2 studs on the bumper mount. Text me.
