Unfortunately Amazon didn't catch it, a competitor did and lowered their overall price so that their price was shown instead of the $2 + $17 shipping guy. If you look in the (other seller) list there are a couple with a high shipping and handling fee....including the one you linked to.

Ahh gotcha. Surprised Amazon isn't all over that. Ebay was pretty quick to catch sellers who tried to avoid fees by raising shipping costs.

Gave the engine a little cleaning today to make @PyritePirateBill proud. :D On a side note: anyone have some tips for cleaning the rubber hoses? The dirt seems baked into them.

Tire cleaner. I use it on my floor mats too lifts the dirt right off and is meant for rubber.

Oh shit I didn't even consider that. I've got some of the Black Magic aerosol, think that will be ok?

@ovrlndkull is my new hero for recommending tire shine for rubber hoses under the hood. Here's a quick sample with just a bit of Black Magic tire aerosol sprayed on a paper towel and minimal elbow grease.

Finally, an actual, functional use for tire shine other than kicking that shit up all over the sides of the vehicle.

    I HATE tire shine..until now. Good stuff @ovrlndkull +1

He said tire cleaner not tire shine. try like a westley's bleach white or someting when you clean the engine compartment next just spray it on before you wash but make sure it's compatible with aluminum

True but the tire shine is working wonders. Dirt fell right off. :D I do need something good for the aluminum too.

Absolutely. I wouldn't go spray it inside the engine bay. Just tested it on a paper towel.

    What Chris said
I just go to the spray and wash car wash and put it on the tire cleaner setting and spray it all over then gently hose off. Dirt falls off with that stuff. Also works good on the under carriage just don't get it on paint you care about or let it sit too long on painted surfaces. There are some tire cleaners that work really well also like from Adam's polishes and what not.
A heavy degreaser like grill cleaner or oven cleaner works also scrubbing bubble in the aerosol can. Look outside the box for cleaners I typically just use what I have laying around. Also buy simple green in the concentrated form and mix it like 50/50 or stonger that works well also for cleaning engines. All those cleaners still need some agitation from a soft brush still.

I put that OME CB shim in a while ago and it stopped that thumping at take off . Now if I step on it little at take off the noise is back . If I take off gently no noise :notsure: Do you have the one piece driveshaft or know anyone that does ? Been thinking about going that route !
