I might be ok. It looks like the sensor is lower than the decal will be. I believe the opening shown in the photo below is for the lane departure feature, and that is the only thing there. You can kinda see the line where the tint is. It is lower than allowed. There is a mark on the passenger side, an arrow on a line. I would suspect your decals would not be below that so I will be good. I definitely want the red/silver to match the side decals. I'll PM ya though. I want to see if there are any laws against decals on side view mirrors. LOL

 

The arrow/line is what's called the ASR1 line. No tint below it. Not sure if it signifies anything else.

Today I drove up to Cabela's in Newark for a delivery for TW Express. I was really impressed with how much glare is reduced in the side view mirrors. It was full sun.

 

Right. I'm an outlaw from way back.

PSA - Not that I condone any illegal activity. In other words, I'm a professional and nothing I do should be attempted by anyone else.

 

No excuses needed. I've had illegal tint on every single vehicle I've owned since 1990. I'm mostly legal now.

 

Mostly is good enough!

I need at least one legal vehicle...................



Eventually I might get the windshield done on the truck but we'll see.

I'm pretty sure I'll be tempted to go dark as hell if I get my windows tinted.

Thanks for the help! I don't get to fly the drone very often and I thought the lights weren't picking up on the camera so I didn't send it back up. I got home and found some pretty sweet shots. I'll have to go back on a warmer night so I can really play with it.

 

No problem! I'm glad you thought of it! I grew up nearby and it didn't even cross my mind. I have some crazy memories of that place!

Yea, dark tint does look good.

When I got it done I realized I'd have to be prepared to roll all 4 windows down immediately if I ever got pulled over. It does make it a little hard to see out of at night, especially in the rain.

 

I'd like to watch you play with it.
