    B .... morning . I’m about to pull the trigger on some Rotopax ! You have any issues with the hardware when you bought yours ? There is a mounting plate specific for our bed rail system but I’m reading reviews saying it’s junk . And the bolts also ,guys are saying junk :notsure:48C9A2B9-64AA-45CE-813C-2CB3FAFD2A26.jpg

    I had my black Rotopax mounted to the old bed rack and didn't have any issues with the hardware or mounting plate.

    I'm not sure how you are going to be able to close the tonneau cover since those mounting plates attach through the center of the Rotopax ... meaning the Rotopax is going to stick up half its length (or width if mounted on the side) from wherever you mount it.

    I use two jerry cans with 2 short rubber hook straps to hold them in place to the front of the bed. I just bolted two additional oem bed tie down anchors to the bed front. Works great.

    I’m going to have to fabricate a bracket that hangs down so the Rotopax sits on the floor of the bed . The 1.75 gallon are 13 1/4 “ tall and the bed side is roughly 18” on the inside .

    Definitely less expensive that way . I want mine near the tailgate so when I’m loaded up with camping gear I don’t have to dig through and move everything .. I’m going to take some more measurements to see if I can make this work .

    I just stand on my sliders and lift them straight up. Plus, I wanted more gas than 1.75 gallons in an emergency .
