I'll start with i have never done a damn thing with a vehicle other than drive it and my truck has been the first thing I really wanted to learn about and do as much as I can on my own.

That being said; I did a TRD exhaust install for my DCSB O/R and I know i messed up a bit even after looking at a guide (bent flanges after getting new gasket in. Tried to get them kinda back to a straighted state for the spring bolts) but wanted to know if the install looks ok. No leaking and everything seems alright but a few extra set of eyes to keep me in check would be appreciated. (Btw if anyone is in or around Goodyear and doesn't mind me knocking a neighbor for sanity checks i'd certainly appreciate the help so I don't nuke my truck.)

The first go around the flanges were touching, so I redid it and this is where i'm at now.

    Thanks!

Did you put the gasket back on right? It's conical i.think.

I did put the gasket on the correct way but i just took the whole exhaust assembly apart to try and bend the flanges back into a straight setting with a c-clamp. Of course I just made the top of amateur hour.

I managed to strip the bolts and probably the nuts because i can't get the exhaust secured any longer to the y pipe with the spring bolts and there's threads that are ground away. Pretty embarrassed i manged to fuck up something that seems pretty simple. I don't know how bad of course so i'll concede and take it to the dealer monday to see if they can help me out and get the truck's exhaust on and corrected so I don't have any future issues.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
I’d take it to an indy exhaust shop. Probably will be way cheaper.

    Thanks man.

I found one close to me that specializes in mufflers/exhaust. Going to try them out Monday. Cheers.
