Interesting in putting a LED light bar on. I know Rigid is the standard to which others are measured but i dont feel like taking out a mortgage to install a LED bar that I will only use a dozen times a year. Seen alot of people getting the cali raised brackets and seem very happy but after using the search button i havent found too many people with any kind of review on LED bars they sell... Your feed back would be appreciated! also pics would be great too, who doesnt want to look at badass trucks and light bars  Thanks ahead of time

I'm interested as well. The bracket install video I saw on their site made it seem like the light bar had to sit really low on the windshield, but I am curious if you could mount it more level with the top of the windshield. You could theoretically put the nutserts anywhere but the curve of the A-pillar is what makes me think the mounting locations may be limited. Good option for an access cab though and seems like a good price

The 5D bars are much more focussed than my old bar. My hood doesn't get lit up as bad anymore!

I can't speak for the brackets, just the lights, but I imagine it shouldn't be too hard to change the position of the mounts since that curve is somewhat gentle. If anything, I'd use some foam molding to fill the gap in between the mount and roof (if the was a gap from the curve of the bracket not lining up with the curve of the roof).

As usual TW delivers. Thx guys/gals

Ill read through all 64 pages when I get home tonight. I'm not sure if it will be talked about but I'm concerned with drilling into the a-pillars and possible water intrusion into the vehicle. Guess ill find out, atleast I have something to read tonight instead of watching nothing on TV ( extremely cold here today, cant do anything outside )

The drilling while intimidating isn't hard. Just seal the holes with silicone. Common practice for roof racks and lightbar brackets. How neatly you apply the silicone will determine how good it looks and how well the hole is sealed.

They are eBay quality at a premium price. Just get the cheapest ebay ones that have the highest lumens you can find.

I'd actually say they're more of a middle-of-the-road supplier. I was given a cheapo ebay light and CaliRaised are way better in output and assembly- not to mention the no-nonsense warranty. Better than ebay lights, but obviously not as good as top tier vendors. You do get what you pay for.
For anyone considering getting cheap e-bay lights, I'd recommend opening them up and sealing them yourself prior to installation and checking torque on all assembly bots/nuts. The main reason they fail is water intrusion due to sloppy quality control or lack thereof. The reality is that they're all cheap china bars (obviously excluding "made in USA" brands), but some are cared for a bit more than others and it shows in their packaging and assembly.
Secondly, most people get lightbars for the look and not because they actually need them so there's nothing wrong with cheaping out on something you'll only use a handful of times to show off with your buddies in the Walmart parking lot or Jimbob's ranch out in the woods. If you plan on doing a lot of night wheeling where your safety and the safety of others will be affected by what you can see at night, then save your money until you can afford a top tier lightbar.

Just speaking truth as I see it.

Thank you- didn't want to bother you with stupid questions when some reading/research on my part would probably result in the answers I was looking for. Appreciate the customer service though

Any chance you can provide an OTD price for the 52" curved led bar, brackets and anything I need to make it work for 2016 4Runner shipped to 45227
    No rush, thanks guys

I went with a cheep ebay bar. Thing tested out to be 1/3 the advertised power. Opened it up and resealed it, but it still leaked through the end caps and the "military grade" vent. Still using it full of condensation, will pull it apart again during the summer.
Next bar will be a CaliRaised in the front bumper.

    @CaliRaisedLed
1- I was wondering if the 50inch brackets deal was offered for 2016 4Runner as well?

2- was looking through the main caliraised thread and your website as didn't see any information on if there was an official waterproof rating ( IP rating )?

3- I was wondering if you had any vehicle side shots? Specifically 4Runner but taco will do as well. Most/all the pictures I have found are straight shots from the front or at an angle from the front of the vehicle. I'm looking to see how far above the roof line that the light bar would sit.

4-do you have a side by side comparison of your flood vs spot as far as output/illumination?

    Thanks again, no rush
