Shit. I feel sorry for the lowly 3rd gen owners who didn’t pull the trigger on a 2nd gen. :stirthepot::stirthepot: :rofl:

We can relegate them to the mountains of Kansas.

Speaking of which, I gotta tell you guys about my uncle mark’s bus-to-RV conversion currently located in Kansas. Man, the stories about dongle drama, month-long searches for an arcane spec of aircraft rivets, and explosions are something else.

    I would consider a 3rd gen if dealers didn't ask $40k for a 2020.

I skipped the 3rd gen all together. Just the trans and engine did not cut it for me.. 2.5 gen fanboy here and still happy with it 8 years later. :)

Good luck going up a small incline on a 3rd gen without the engine struggling to provide the car enough power.

not everyone is getting the hybrid engine. Also for those hoping the hybrid delivers those numbers are misleading.

The best part is that even without the hybrid system, the new engine puts out more hp and torque at lower RPM than the current engine.

the hybrid numbers are not misleading.

How are the hybrid motors misleading? Or did that come from your ass?

    3rd gen motor options:
    • 3.5L V6
      • 278/265
    • 2.7L V4 (Base Engine)
      • 159/180

    4th gen motor options:

    • 2.4 liter i-FORCE MAX
      • 326/465
    • 2.4-liter four-cylinder (Base Engine)
      • 278/317
Even the base motor of the 4th gen shits on both 3rd gen options. Not to mention that massive improvements the 8-speed transmission is going to bring to fuel economy and every day driving.
