Not really pushed to get rid of it just seeing if there might be any interest. Asking $5000 obo. Just putting a price out there. Will give all info if someone is interested.

Yea I love it. I drive it almost everyday. Gas mileage is great and the chicks dig it. I'm just wanting to build another one.

Man if you weren't so far away I'd might try and make a deal on it. First thing I'd do is spray that sucker matte black. GLWS!

    Thanks man.
It has a 2" autowerks beam, drop spindles, new clutch, slip on white walls, and cd player. I'm sure there's more just all that's coming to mind. The motor runs out nicely, doesn't leak or burn oil. Has 90k original miles. All of the gauges still work as well. [IMG][IMG]

Thanks for the offer but I'm not broke. Of course I'll take less than five but not hurting enough to go that low.

I understand the economy is in the tank and that 5k is high, but I just love this car so much but I get bored and something new. I have badass mustangs and camaros but I've got more enjoyment out of this mainly because it's different. Here's my taco with the new wheels. [IMG]

Do you have some type of air suspension, or just always cruise that low?

im not gonna lie, your getting ripped off for how easy the work is. such simple electrical system, 8 fuses stock, engine can be removed with a floor jack along with the tranny, can be re built in a day in your driveway and reinstalled, should be doing the work yourself, really strengthens general automotive knowledge.

I do work on it at the shop. the shop is a owned by a very close family friend of mine. I don't have the tools at my house nor the space to drop the motor and tranny to rebuild them. I painted it myself, re covered the seats and installed the interior to its original style plus built an aftermarket center consul. so actually I'm not getting ripped off as I don't have to pay the shop fee for the labor if i contribute to the work being done around the shop as well as to my own Super Beetle.
