Feeler* 6" BDS w Fox coilovers and shocks

Would be much more than just shocks, crossmember, skid plate, brake lines, lift blocks; she's a heavy beach

Ten four! I have light racing UCAs I'll be selling with the kit as well. Just trying to save some Moolah up right now. My original price will probably go up a little woth those added. I'm hoping for June - august to have the kit removed and up on the marketplace formally!

 

Is BDS 6'' kit bolt on? I Thought you had to cu / weld all drop bracket lifts? Are you just going to have the bracket cut out?

 

Nah, it's direct bolt in. Only piece to weld in is the turn radius bump stops I belive. u'll do more work w ratchets than a weld rod....

 

Yeah I'm gonna have to get creative for th crossmember, I'm absolutely replacing the piece that was cut out (makes room for the driveshaft on 4x4 models) and those turn stops I never welded on, nor are they necessary. It's for rubbing with the larger tires I'm pretty sure. Either way they aren't needed.

 

I found a thread here about a 1st gen dude who reversed his DB lift. He got a complete front frame crossmember from a junked truck that was cut out along the frame seam weld and spliced it back into his own frame. Joker was some kinda welder cause when he was done it looked factory! Shizzle was tight yo! Lol anywayz maybe u have to go the same route? Or did ur lift get installed with a small channel notch in the crossmember instead? I seen that trick too- just enough crossmember gets cut out to make room for the front drive shaft and it looks like maybe 4" deep x 4-6" wide??? Fella that did that one was on a 2nd gen w a rough country db 6" kit. He also did a fab job of boxing in his custom notch w plate and looked dam factory when he was done- if I can find the threads again I'll try and copy em here for ha

 

It was cut to make just enough room. There is a scrap 2014 in town I was going to steal the crossmember from. I have almost everything in place for when I do this. The reverse install might take a day or 2 but it's gonna be interesting!

Shit , spent 30 mins tryin to find that reversal link to the first gen, tellin ya it was slick when done. Simple bolt on stock parts after that for the guy. If you had a way to put your truck down long enuff to sell me the goodies and let me get it installed here I would ship you my crossmember at my cost but I see ya got one already.... lol

 

Would have also been an option. She's my daily tho so that would be hard for me
